Jane has 43 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She has been in practice since graduation from Ferris State University with highest honors in 1973, and has been part of Dr. Hanselman's Ann Arbor dental team at 1303 Packard Road since 1981.
Her focus is on preventive oral care and she has considerable experience in rehabilitative periodontal therapy and patient management. She especially enjoys helping young people learn about the role of personal oral care in prevention of oral disease.
Jane and her husband, Gene Hopkins, live in Webster Township. Their rural home also serves as the office of HopkinsBurns Design Studio, which was established there in 2007. Gene and his partner, Tamara Burns, are well known historic preservation architects.
The Hopkins are fortunate to have their extended family living next door. Daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, Amanda, Scott and Teagan Maurmann make great neighbors! And the Hopkins family’s most recent and loving member is Eero—a 5 year old golden retriever, and office pet.
